Complementary Activities
SOCIAL FAIR
In order to make the most of the international theme of the Congress, a Social Fair is being planned. This would be a place to exchange ideas and can be used as a showcase to display the undertakings and projects that are being put forward at a national and international level, as well as the various official and private organisations and NGOs in Africa.
The Fair will be set up in an open space within the “El Carmen” University campus (Galileo building) and there are plans to install between fifteen and twenty stands, a stage for presentations and a projection and sound screen where the entities and participants will be able to organise educational or artistic events, and /or exhibit projects being carried out.
At the same time the Fair will be the ideal place to promote the event within the local community as entrance to the Fair will be open to all.
BILATERAL CONSULTATIONS
The Congress aims to provide areas for direct consultations among the following; the representatives of institutions or NGOs, the different countries present with the international, national, self-governing, provincial and local institutions that have a social, political or institutional involvement at an international level such as the AECI – the Andalusian Agency For International Cooperation, local governments, councils and NGO’s.
The institutions that wish to be presented at bilateral consultations will be coordinated in advance, and both the elected staff involved and the timetable must be established. The event organisers will provide an office and record cards, as well as organising the appointments with those who request to be present. Basic information will be provided such as name, organisation represented, country of origin, position in the organisation and the topic or project to be dealt with.
The deadline for request a consultation is the 15th of october.
CONCERT
We would like to create a place where the shows promote intercultural relationships and the fusion of artists, music and rhythms.
